We need to embrace getting older and celebrate Life. It’s only when I became a photographer, I realise the importance of having photographs and memories need to be captured. Sometimes women dedicated her life to her family, she has forgotten how beautiful & elegant she truly is & can be. My aunt hasn’t had any portrait taken for close to 30 years. I want to celebrate her life as a mother, a wife, a wonderful aunt and a magnificient woman inside and out. I invited her (along with her two lovely daughters) to a photo shoot and create images that will be priceless one day.
We talked, we laughed and we had fun with the tulle skirts I made. It was a day filled with joy – A day to remember.
When was the last time your mom had her portrait taken? (If you are thinking about it, it is definitely too long!).
All 50s plus women deserves to have beautiful pictures taken and not be forgotten.
